Manicure-Ready Gloves

So I finally figured out what to do with this amazing yarn I got from that “other” yarn boutique, Purl, and, here we go.  Decision well made, I think.  I can’t remember the exact brand name, but it had a picture of a sheep named Andy on it, which caused me to subconsciously create backup plan D, in which I forsake the gritty New York life in exchange for a nice piece of land where I too can raise my own Andy with an endless supply of fantastically colored yarn at my disposal with which to create the yet-unrealized masterpieces of my life!  It is expensive, but can one really put a price-tag on this kind of inspiration?  Or coloring?

http://crochetme.com/patterns/basic-fingerless-mittens, pretty easy gloves.  Made them in a plainer, albeit classer color for my mother dearest.  Not quite as awesome, but certainly pretty.

Also worth noting:  they look really fabulous with my nails.

PS. For all you other manic, obsessive types out there, I have discovered the joys of sewing/quilting. Whiling away the wee hours of the night sewing endless tiny strips together is as good as it gets.  More on that to come.
